We’ve been heads down for a few months getting a new Doit.im for Android ready for prime time. We are so sorry to have kept you waiting so long. Now Doit.im for Android gets a pretty great update full of new features, redesigned screens and stability improvements. Can’t wait to experience it? Ok, let’s take a look first:

» Official Website
» Google Play Store
The new interface is the biggest change we bring to you in this update, which, at the same time, will bring you new operation experience.
1. Smart Add
When you want to Smart Add a task, pull down the screen from the very top and it will go to the notification area. Here, click “Doit.im Pro”, and you’ll see the “Smart Add” panel.
If you don’t want to show Smart Add on notification, you can also disable it in the App settings.
2. Do it now
It is a feature that you must be familiar with, as it has already been first supported in Doit.im for Web and Doit.im for iOS.
Just like the operations in iPhone, click to open the Today box in your Android app.
Click the “Edit” button at the top right corner of the Today page and you’ll see a lightning-shaped icon in front of each task.

Click the lightning-shaped icon and the task will go to the “Do it now” group immediately.

Lastly, click the “Done” button.
The same could be done in the Next box, but unlike in the Today box, when you click the lightning-shaped icon, the task will disappear from Next and go to Today’s “Do it now” group.
In the “Do it now” group, tasks can be sorted manually. Still click the “Edit” button and you’ll see the three-trip icon.
Long press it to drag and drop the task to a proper row in the list. Then, click the “Done” button. See? The two tasks have changed their places.
3. Convert to project
Also, you must have been experienced this feature in Doit.im for web and iOS. This time, we bring it to Doit.im for Android.
Long press a task and you’ll see “As project”. Click it and the task will soon become a project.
Besides, today’s update won’t auto-uninstall the old Doit. im for Android, which means that the new and the old could both exist in your phone.
And much more…
In addition to all the visible changes described above, there are lots of improvements and fixes. You’ll find the app is more stable and reliable than ever. We hope you like our latest version of Doit.im for Android. :)
We’ll have lots more updates to share with you soon. Enjoy and let us know what you think.
