Doit.im for Web Update Notes
Today’s Doit.im for Web update prevents you from getting troubled when you confront with some tasks that needs to be done like a project. It also includes a number of stability improvements. Here is the update:
1. Convert to Project
Sometimes, you may find that the task you collect needs to be done with several steps. Indeed, it is time-consuming if you have to delete the task first and then recreate a project with the same name as that of the task.
In order to resolve this situation, we bring this feature that a task can be directly converted to a project by the button called “Convert to project”
.Once it becomes a project, it will be listed under “Projects” and then you can assign more tasks to it.
2. Switch between Active project & Inactive project
You can set a start time or a deadline for your project when adding or editing it. If the task belongs to a project but with no specific start time, it will go to Next by default.

If you set Today (which means the project starts from today or before today) or Next as the project’ start time, it will be an Active project by default.
If you set Scheduled (which means the project will start from tomorrow or after tomorrow) or Someday as the project’ start time, it will be an Inactive project by default.

There are two ways for you to deactivate a project.
a. Deactivate a project by the button called “Inactive”
. And its start time will also be changed.
b. Deactivate a project by directly changing its start time. As long as you change its start time into Tomorrow, Scheduled or Someday, it will be an Inactive project. And when it expires, it will be activated automatically.
Once a project is deactivated, it will disappear from the left column, but you can still see it on the right when you click on “projects” just as the screenshot above shows.
Also, there are two ways for you to activate a project.
a. Activate a project by the button called “Active”
. And its start time will also be changed.
b. Activate a project by directly changing its start time. As long as you change its start time into Today or Next, it will be an Active project.
3. Show completed tasks and archived tasks under a project
A completed task can be showed under the project and titled as Completed.
An archived task can also be showed under the project and titled as Archived.

4. Add a context to a project
Now you can add a context to a project.

It makes no difference to the context of the task under the project. You can still create another context for the task.
More new features are waiting for your explore. Come on, and you will get much surprise!
